PAC Machinery’s Clamco 4T & 6T Shrink Tunnels Will Now Come Standard With Variable Air Speed Control

Berea, Ohio – July 23, 2024 – PAC Machinery (PAC), a renowned leader in packaging solutions for over six decades, is pleased to announce that the Variable Air Speed Control mechanism will now be included as a standard feature on all PAC Machinery Clamco 4T and 6T Shrink Tunnels. Previously offered as an optional upgrade at an additional cost, this innovative control system will now be integrated into every 4T and 6T tunnel ordered, reflecting PAC’s commitment to providing top-of-the-line packaging solutions. Please note that the inclusion of Variable Air Speed Control will result in a slightly higher price point for these tunnels.

There are several benefits to the Variable Air Speed Control including: providing the operator the ability to set the air speed manually which can make the machine run at faster speeds and produce a higher quality wrap around the product as it progresses through the heat tunnel.  It also ultimately reduces the number of rejected packages that can happen from time to time with shrink wrap.

“I’ve always wanted that included and now we have that included because it should be on every tunnel, said Greg Johnson, Director of Sales. “It just gives the operator more control over the shrink capability of our standard tunnels and produces a more consistent result,” Johnson said.
