HCAN Hand Cantilever

Impulse Sealer

The Vertrod HCAN is a manually operated hand cantilever impulse sealer for packaging and fabricating applications where access to the sealing jaws must be open and unobstructed.

Some typical applications are sealing across tubing, lap sealing a sleeve or “dead-end” assembly, splicing thin belts and sealing filling valves on free standing bags (pouches).

The Vertrod HCAN cantilver sealer is available in a variety of different working lengths to fit your packaging needs.

The Vertrod HCAN hand cantilever impulse sealer is made in the USA and includes a 2 year limited warranty.

  • Seal Length: 8″, 14″, 20″, 24″
  • Seal width: 1/8″
  • Single side heater bar with opposing pressure bar (bottom jaw heated)
  • Time-based thermal impulse sealing system
  • Independent Seal and Cool timers from 0 to 3.75 seconds (.25 second increments)
  • Manual, hand operated

Options

  • Wider seal widths: 1/4″, 3/8″, 1/2″
  • Bi-Active heat (top and bottom heated bars)
  • Dual Seals (parallel): 2 x 1/8″, 2 x 1/4″
  • Hot Wire Trim (beaded trim seal)
  • Cold Cut Wire Trim
